On March 29th 2017, the OICE YPs Group has been created. It is open to all Italian Young Professionals working within the associated companies. Arch. Eleonora Smargiassi is the coordinator of the Group and representative for Italy within FIDIC YPs Group.
The task of the Group is to value the identity, the culture and the expertise of the new generation of engineers and architects promoting exchanges of know how and networking opportunities both at national and international level.
To enhance the Group visibility and facilitate new entries and contacts a special link of the Group will be created on OICE website and on EFCA and FIDIC dedicated webpages.
Major YPs interests are BIM, IFIs, and sustainability. The Group's first activities consist in promoting the participation to 2017 EFCA and FIDIC YPs competitions.
OICE will include special activities dedicated to YPs within the 2017-2018 Internationalization Program.
