The virtual 2020 General Assembly Meeting of the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA), held on 4 June 2020, elected Roberto Carpaneto as member of the new Board of Directors. OICE’s Vicepresident for International Affairs since 2017, Roberto Carpaneto is Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of RINA.
In his first statement the new member od the Board said: "I accept with pleasure the engagement proposed in order to offer my ideas and my energy and to cooperate with our new President Clocheret and all the colleagues”.
Eng. Carpaneto also paid particular attention to the European cooperation: "I will work on matters that affect the industry with a particular focus on digital transformation, future trends, internationalization and international cooperation”.
The European engineering consultancy industry employs more than 1 million staff and generates more than EUR 150 billion annual turnover.
