The President of OICE Giorgio Lupoi along with the OICE Vicepresident alfredo ingletti and some associated companies met today in Rome with the President of Tecniberia Joan Franco. The bilateral meeting was organized within the Italian-Spanish Agreement signed in Madrid last December on the occasion of the Business mission organized by OICE with the support of the Italian Embassy in Madrid and ITA.
Addressed topics include: Italian-Spanish organization of 1-2 annual conferences to address some topics of mutual interest (ex. the shared problem of flood risks), an event to encourage joint ventures initiatives among member firms with special focus on Europe, Africa and Latin America; competitive benchmarking to share best practises on public procurement.
“It was a fruitful meeting – President Lupoi stated - with common interests in line with the strategic policy that our Association is carrying out with particular regard to the internationalitation activities. I have agreed with the Spanish President, to work together for developing common activities supporting our companies in their international initiatives". To kick-start the process, a new common working group will be created.
